Again i'm sorry for the lack of posts.. okay, so two? I know there's no agreement that this should be a daily thing, but it somehow ended up that way, and now it feels odd when i miss a day, especially as each day there's so much great music i'm listening to. Besides, there's what? Two people reading this?

So anyway, today i'm listening to Midnight Oil. Ever heard of them? If not they are definately a band to check out. I recommend you give "Blue Sky Mining" a listen. The album title itself is enough to make you wanna listen.
Their song "Beds are Burning" which is not on that album has been my song for today. The lyrics are pretty brief, but there is a meaning there. Goes like this
How can we dance when our earth is turning, how can we sleep when our beds are burning?
It's pretty much a political song. I think most of the greatest songs that were ever writtend lyrics based on political events or something to do with whatever is going on in the world. I guess it's because there's so much to write about, and sing about, and everyone can relate to it. Which is what makes a good song really. When people relate to something, they like it.
